Courtney John (formerly known as Yogie) is a veteran Reggae singer and producer, that has been making big waves with his latest release “Good Life” produced by Collin “Bulby” York (Fat Eyes). This set of tunes by “The Lovers Rocker” is made up of new tracks, as well as tracks from his latest release “Made In Jamaica”.

In a recent interview with Royal Jelly Reggae Show, Courtney said his earliest days as a singer were motivated by, among other things, crooning for the ladies. The same apparently stands true today, and this mix is great example of how he gives lovers tunes his masterful touch. Courtney’s obvious respect for artists that came before him, and his strong grasp on R&B (not to mention having Sly & Robbie and Bulby in his corner) makes him a standout artist for 2010.
